City of Ballarat Budget 2011/2012
Ballarat City Council has adopted its annual Budget for the financial period 1 July 2011 to 30 June 2012.
the Budget delivers the infrastructure, services and commuity priorities that will drive growth while protecting the way of life our residents enjoy.
Key Budget Highlights
- $43.9 million into capital works
- $13.1 million into roads
- $4.4 million into sports infrastructure
- $1.5 million to strengthen the CBD
- $2.4 million to progress 300 Mair Street
- Rate rise of just 3.5% - lower than the regioanl average of 5.4%
