BALLARAT PARLIAMENTARIANS

The Federal Electorate you live in is known as Ballarat.

The Electorate Ballarat was originally proclaimed in 1901.

Whilst the electorate takes its name from the City of Ballarat its boundaries are much broader.

In 2003 following and electoral redistribution, the boundaries of the electorate were changed substantially.  It now covers a smaller area of over 400 square kilometres.  The electorate Ballarat runs from Clunes in west to Baccus Marsh on the east and from Trentham in the north to Elaine in the South.
