Livestock Selling Centre

The Ballarat Livestock Selling Centre is an efficient and effective livestock selling facility meeting the needs of the rural community.

Office Hours

Monday - 9.00am to 4.30pm
Tuesday - 8.00am to 4.30pm
Wednesday to Friday - 9.00am to 3.00pm

Sale Days

Cattle: Monday
Horses: third Thursday of every second month
Pigs: Wednesday
Sheep: Tuesday
Store Cattle: second Friday of every month

Truck Wash

Located in Latrobe Street, the truck wash is available to livestock transport trucks only. Two systems are available, Avdata key system and a token system.

Keys and tokens are available from the Ballarat Livestock Selling Centre during office hours.

Prices

Avdata keys $31.00 + GST $3.10 = $34.10 each
Tokens $2.50 sale days + GST .25c = $2.75 each
Tokens $5.00 non-sale days + GST .50c = $5.50 each
Water $1.65 for 10 minutes
