New Residents Welcome Package - My Choice for Living

Enjoy free and discounted goods and services, from Ballarat businesses valued at over $20,000 when you make Ballarat your permanent residence. The 'My Choice for Living' incentive package is available and welcomes all new Ballarat residents.

Claiming your 'My Choice for Living' package takes approximately five minutes with a visit to the Customer Service at the Phoenix Building, 25 Armstrong Street South, Ballarat, with proof of permanent Ballarat residency within three (3) months of moving to Ballarat.

You will need to bring the following documentation to claim your package:

• a signed contract of sale; or
• a rental agreement of at least six months or more: or
• a letter of employment indicating permanent emnployment or an employment contract of more that six months duration from your new employer

AND one of the following documents

• a drivers licence; or 
• car registration papers

Students must also produce, in addition to the requirements stated above, documentation from their tertiary institution indicating a period of study of at least one year. Acceptable documents include enrolment forms, fees or HECS details.

You will then be issued with the incentive package containing discount vouchers worth over $20,000.
