Bus Modelling Study - Ballarat Central Area

A new program to help revitalise metropolitan and regional centres to make them economically stronger, and better places to live and work has been developed with Ballarat being identified by the State Government as a major transit city.

The key objective for the Ballarat Central Area Bus Modelling Study project is to identify a workable solution, for the operation of buses within central Ballarat including changes to some bus stop locations, along with the connection of all bus routes to the train station on all services.

The Ballarat Central Area Bus Modelling Study was delivered though a partnership between the City of Ballarat and the Department of Infrastructure and is a clear demonstration of the commitment by both organisations in delivering on the community vision aspired to in Blueprint Ballarat  and the Council Plan for a sustainable transport system in this City.
