Public Toilets

Public toilet signCouncil maintains in excess of 30 public toilets - the majority of which are fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. Cleaning is undertaken on a regular contract arrangement from between four times a day to once a week depending on usage. Public toilet facilities are strategically located throughout Ballarat to meet the areas greatest demand.

BBQs

Approximately twenty BBQs are available to the public throughout Ballarat and are located at the most popular parks and gardens areas. The BBQs are FREE to use and are cleaned on a daily basis.

Playgrounds

Adventure Playground, Windmill Drive, Lake WendoureeLocated within Ballarat are 115 playgrounds. These playgrounds range from major regional parks such as the Adventure Playground located at Windmill Drive, Lake Wendouree, through to smaller neighbourhood playgrounds.

Playgrounds are audited for safety and maintenance on a regular basis in accordance with Australian Standards.
