Public Buildings

The Facilities Management Unit maintain some 500 buildings throughout the City to the highest possible standard with regard to public safety and costs.

The City of Ballarat has a huge diversity of Public Buildings, many of which are open to and available for public use. The Ballarat Town Hall circa 1872, and the Ballarat Mining Exchange 1888, are two fine examples of public buildings from the era. Other public facilities include bandstands and the Botanical Gardens Statue House.
