Cemeteries

Ballarat City Council manages the Learmonth Public Cemetery Trust and the Coghills Creek/Glendaruel Public Cemetery Trust. The Learmonth Public Cemetery dates from 1858 and the Coghills Creek/Glendaruel Cemetery from 1861 - both of these small country cemeteries give an insight into the early European settlers to the area.
