Ballarat's population, like the rest of Australia is ageing. By the year 2021, one in four people living in Ballarat are predicted to be over the age of 60.
As part of Ballarat City Council's Positive Ageing Strategy, we are keen to hear what is important to you to help guide planning for seniors in the future.
The three questions below are prompts from which we welcome comment on. This is only one aspect of the community engagement for this strategy but it is a great opportunity to have your say about your future.
What contributes positively to people's lives as they age?
What are the issues that impact on people's ability to age well?
What can be done by Council, other government bodies, service providers or community organisations to address these issues?
Please send your responses marked "Positive Ageing Feedback" to Council by the end of April via one of the following options.
