Ballarat Japan Community Committee (BJCC) - Sister City: Inagawa-cho

In August 1988, Inagawa and Ballarat connected through a sister-city agreement with the hope of acquire a more cosmopolitan out-look on life and the opportunity to widen horizon and thinking through direct exchange with foreign people and direct contact with foreign countries.

Inagawa lies to the southeast of Hyogo Prefecture; it touches Osaka Prefecture's Toyono District in the east, Kawanishi City in the south, Takaruzaka and Sanda City in the west, and Sasayama Town of the Taki District in the north.
