"Activities for Me" - Partnership Project 2006 - 2008
In 2006 the Ballarat Responsible Gambling Committee (BRGC) co-ordinated the development of a community based website to promote recreational opportunities in and around the Ballarat area to increase community participation. The website was advertised within local gaming venues and a select number of community venues.
The marketing material, in the form of flyers, posters and coasters promoted positive health messages about the importance of community involvement and belonging. Now the project is complete, flyers remain in circulation highlighting numerous key recreational opportunities and providing links to the Community Directory on this web site.
