Balhausen Bequest Organ Scholarships

The City of Ballarat invites applications from musicians of all ages for the above scholarship, which offers free tuition for twelve months from the Ballarat City Organist, Mr Bruce Keck BMus BA TPTC. Applicants should have reached a standard equal to Grade Five AMEB on a keyboard instrument.

Selection is by audition and interview with a panel appointed by Council's Arts and Cultural Development Unit.

Professional Development Workshops

The City of Ballarat's Arts and Cultural Development Department will be creating and implementing a series of free professional development workshops for emerging and established artists to develop skills that will enhance productivity and sustainability.

RANDOM E-newsletter

Regional Arts Network- Distribution Of Material (RANDOM) is a weekly E-newsletter created to share events and activities within Ballarat and the surrounding region. Since January 2006, subscription has grown to over 300. RANDOM can include information received by subscribers or items that the Arts team think may be of use to enhance your current practice/projects. Inclusion of items in the RANDOM E-newsletter is free of charge and a great way to reach potential audiences. To be added to the mailing list please email random@ballarat.vic.gov.au with RANDOM in the subject line.
